Care Community Locations

United Church Homes has been compassionately serving older adults for over 100 years. Based predominantly within Ohio and surrounding states our care communities generally consist of residential living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. Each community provides a comprehensive array of services with options for every level of care and offer a variety of clinical, culinary, environmental service and administrative employment opportunities.

Our most critical staffing needs are found within the nursing department and we continually recruit for high quality nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses (LPN), and registered nurses (RN).   The interactive map highlights the location and HR manager at each of our healthcare communities.

Affordable Housing Locations

United Church Homes is proud to provide affordable housing for older adults who fall below federal income qualification thresholds. Our 60+ communities located across 13 states allow us to meet the housing needs of seniors on a nationwide basis.

In each of our communities, we employ housing managers, maintenance staff, and in some cases,  administration staff. Each point on the map signifies one of our affordable housing communities.

Shelly Sheets – Four Winds Community

“Shelly Sheets, along with the staff of Four Winds, (Apple Ridge), had a baby shower for a resident’s daughter. The staff recognized the need for this shower, as the resident has dementia and was unable to have a shower for her daughter. The resident’s family was very appreciative of this kind act and shared their thoughts and gratitude on Facebook.

Bonnie Chesser – Harmar Place

“Bonnie started in 2008. Bonnie wears many hats and has done many different jobs. She works hard as a STNA. All of our coworkers can agree she is one of our top STNAs in the community. Bonnie is honest and shows integrity in all that she does. She truly understands that STNAs need to provide compassion and TLC as well as clinical skills. Bonnie is always learning new things and attempting to incorporate them into being a wise steward. Bonnie is helping create a warm homelike environment on their unit. She's a true steward of hospitality.”

Danielle Thrasher – Harmar Place

“Danielle Thrasher has been a STNA since 2007. Since her start, her personal integrity quickly made it easy for staff to trust her. Her compassionate nature with her residents and families quickly taught them to trust her. Danielle excels so easily at hospitality to the point where it seems more like home when she's here. She is a quick learner who learn to read her residence like a book. She knows their moods, wants, needs, abilities and exactly how to help them. All the nurses know to go to Danielle if they have questions or need an opinion on something to do with her residents. Danielle is one of those nursing assistants that you pray your loved ones will have.”

~ Wendy

Shannon Persson – Parkvue

“Shannon was on her way home but stopped in the activities room because she hadn't seen one of her residents in a while. He had left his neighborhood to visit others in the community. She went to look for him and when he was located on a different neighborhood she brought him back smiling and joyful. It was impressive to see her love, care and concern for someone. She wouldn't leave until she knew he was safe.”

~Amy

Morgan Mohr – Patriot Ridge

“Late one evening, Morgan took the time to coax a resident stay up for a while. She went out of her way to make her comfortable and gave her positive encouragement. She went to the kitchen for extra snacks, offered a foot rub and other incentives. The resident stayed up and was happy. The resident also got to stay up and spend time with her husband for the first time in a very long time. Both were very happy.”
